Connie Abbott is one of the fastest women in town. Connie ran for SM South and KU. |

Sarah Flogel is a personal fitness trainer from Iowa. |

Candice Baldwin runs big miles and is our Women’s Apparel Buyer. She completed the 2011 Grandma’s Marathon and is working on qualifying for Boston! |

DJ Hilding ran for Lawrence High and KU. He is the Men’s Clothing buyer along with Managing the Lawrence location. He’s a 5 time marathon finisher and coaches XC and Track at Blue Valley Northwest High School.

Tyson Willoughby ran track and cross country for KU. He is our accessory buyer and has one of the “biggest” personalities among our staff. He is also a newlywed. |

Kerry Schmittling is the Marketing Manager, Team Sales Manager, and Administrative Manager. Just a little this and that. GO TIGERS! |

Carl Specking Graduated from Mizzou in 2010, and yes, works mainly in the Lawrence store. Carl’s main choice of running shoe is the Vibram Bikila Five Finger and is the most experienced “barefoot” runner we have on staff. Carl is another one of our expert Disc Golf players. |

Gary Braley is a very speedy person running, selling, and driving, and well liked by all. |

Scott Conner is coach, dad, and teacher by day. Scott is also our best disc golf player. |

Mike Potts is truly our shoe fitting Jedi. |

Alan Sikes is a triathlete and a really nice guy! |

Jerry Johnson is a KU graduate and our food buyer and has been running for over 33 years. |

David Williford is the store manager at our Stoll Park location. David is a KU grad and former Naval officer. |

Susie Fagan is a Lawrence native and longtime GGRS customer turned employee. Susie has done multiple marathons, but is taking up more triathlon training.

Michael Pierce ran for SBU and the Stotan Racing Club in New York state. |

Bobby Sindorf graduated from KSU and is pursuing his D.C. Bobby supports a local KC charity called Sharing Soles. |

Frank Bolbecker is one of the fastest masters runners in KC and has been with GGRS since 1999. |

Bill Buckland is a Florida native, father of two, and a great shoe problem solver. |

John Winslow has been working for us the longest and is well known by our regulars. |

Megan Brown is a teacher, Runner’s Edge participant, and is busy doing a marathon in every state. |

Katie Koester bubbles with personality and is a sub 3:30 marathoner. |

Joe Meyers is a retired public school administrator, has been running for over 30 years. |

Glenn Daniels coaches at Olathe East and is a great shoe person. |

Fritzi Hazelrigg is probably the best known woman runner in KC. |

Karen Moran Redlich coaches cross country at St. Teresa’s Academy. |

Tim Mezger is a graduate of KU, an Ironman, and is one of our slowest runners. |

Ellen Young is the race director of the Red Dog Run. She has finished 7 half marathons, 1 marathon, and has one more on the way. |

Steve Sell has 37 years of cross country and track coaching experience and has been a competitive runner since 1963. |

Grant Catloth is a former Baldwin HS and Johnson County CC runner. He recently graduated from KU with a Political Science degree and is running the Chicago Marathon in 2011 as his 1st marathon.

J. Jenkins is a former high school cross country coach and works at the Lawrence store. He will challenge anyone to a game of Bridge. |

Brittany Tate is a student at KU and works at the Lawrence store. She ran cross country and track at Lee’s Summit West High school. |

Keaton Davis just moved from the Golden State. He is an avid trail runner and is studying physical therapy at KU and is running the Chicago Marathon for his first 26.2 venture. |

Mallory Senne is the manager of the Topeka store and has enjoyed running for several years now. She played other sports growing up and has turned those sports’ “punishment” into a passion. |

Anthony Cervantez is Topeka’s assistant manager. He lives in Topeka, studies at KU and enjoys running trails. |

Kent Lathrop has over 30 years of running experience and has completed 5 marathons. |

Tina Askins has been a personal trainer for over 10 years, a runner for over 5 years, and she has completed numerous races including an ultra-marathon. |

John Deitrich is a middle school physical educator and coach. He has coached track and cross country and likes challenging students to become more fit. |

Leon Small is Topeka’s resident triathlete. Leon has been running and competing for a long time. |

Joe Schrag, a Topeka legend, was coach of Topeka West High School track and cross country for 41 years. He is an avid road racer and marathoner. |

Monica Schrag a runner since high school, is the head coach for Topeka High School cross country teams and an assistant coach for the track teams. |

Jenny Chronister is an ACE Certified Personal trainer, Pilates Mat, TRX and Bootycamp Instructor. Leader of Sports Bras 2 Sports Bars. Married to the author of BBQ Makes Everything Better. KSU Alumni (GO CATS!). Loves marathons, fitness and her 3 dogs! |

Lucas Boyer has run the Boston, New York, & Chicago Marathons and moved on to ultramarathons. When he’s not running, he likes to backpack long miles and is a freelance outdoor adventure writer. |

Gregg Buehler High school teacher and XC, Wrestling, and T&F coach. MU graduate (M-I-Z…). Married to an awesome gal and father to 3 awesome boys. Loves ultramarathons and someday wants to do one with his boys. |

Valerie Hughes may be small in stature but don’t let that fool you! She is a Kansas city area Probation and Parole Officer and has been running for about 12 years. She has decided to stick with half marathons!
